The Burger List

A review from every good burger joint I've been to.

Big Pons
Buenos Aires, Argentina

It's sold in limited quantities, but if you have the chance get the HDP. It's a beauty.

Burgers 99
Los Angeles, CA

I've been here a couple of times and it never disappoints. Whether is a regular Cheeseburger or the American (their take on the Quarter Pounder), you'll make a great choice.

Burgertify
Buenos Aires, Argentina

One of the first burger joints to appear in the city. If you like video games, they have a bunch of arcades inside around the restaurant. You'll be good ordering any of their burgers, but my favorite here is the Donkey Donut — a double bacon cheeseburger on donuts.

Cassell's Hamburgers
Los Angeles, CA

Nice old school restaurant inside a hotel by Koreatown. You should order a Cassell's 1/4 lb with American cheese. Finishing with a slice of Pecan Pie would be ideal. Dulce De Leche Banana Cream Pie looked really good too.

Father's Office
Los Angeles, CA

This cool bar makes the Office Burger: it comes with caramelized onion, applewood bacon, gruyere, Maytag blue and arugula. I know this might sound weird but trust me - it's really good.

Goose & Gander
St Helena, CA

A very nice pub-like steakhouse located in Napa Valley. Got the G&G Burger after some cocktails and it was delicious. A really juicy high-end burger.

Gott's Roadside
St Helena, CA

Came here a bunch of times after reading about it on George Motz's Hamburger America. The California Burger together with a Cookies & Cream Shake is a delicious combo.

Heavy Handed
Los Angeles, CA

100000000/10. These guys definitely know what they're doing. A crispy smashburger made of 100% ground short rib with cheese, pickles and their house sauce on a Martin's Potato Roll.

In-N-Out Burger
Western US

The Double-Double Animal Style is the best fast-food burger I've ever had (shares #1 spot with Shake Shack's ShackBurger). Sometimes I also like ordering it without lettuce or tomato and still tastes great.

Shake Shack
Worldwide

To be honest I've deeply enjoyed every single burger I had here. But if I had to choose one, the ShackBurger would be my favorite. I've also had the chance to try the exclusive Birria Shack at EEEEEATSCON and it was delicious.

The Apple Pan
Los Angeles, CA

Eating by the counter on this old school diner is awesome. Order the Hickoryburger and get at least one slice of Banana Cream Pie because you won't regret it.

The Food Truck Store
Buenos Aires, Argentina

I've been a regular since it opened about five years ago. Fun fact: the owner is a really good friend of George Motz. So... getting an Oklahoma Fried Onion Burger is the best choice you can do here. +1 to their incredible fries.

The Win-Dow
Venice, CA

The combination of beef + American cheese + Martin's Potato Rolls makes the perfect Cheeseburger. They're so little and cute that I'd eat 20 of them nonstop.
